    iv been wrapping my brains around thinking aobut how to get my laptop to read my Maudio ProjectMix I/O.

    i stupidly seen a good deal for the ADVENT 9415, it has 2gb ram and 120HDD. the problem is it only has 4 USB ports, vga out, SD card reader, audio in and out, CD drive, LAN port, and power supply.Can i get an adopter that will read a firewire..wire through usb or something?im all out of ideas and i gota make do with what i have

    There are firewire to USB connectors out there. Check Best Buy or Microcenter for possible options.

    There should be a slot on your laptop that will accept either a WIFI adapter or a Firewire adapter.. check this link out

    You've got three options:

    Option 2 is a PCMCIA card (if your computer still has one...) that gives you 2 USB, 1 Firewire 6-pin and 1 Firewire 4-pin adapter:
